Dayton Art Institute announces exhibitions for 2020 season

DAYTON – As the Dayton Art Institute (DAI) prepares to welcome in the 2020 season, the museum has announced a suite of exhibitions for the new year.

Artworks by Vincent Saulnier, Scott Thayer coming to Hayner center

TROY — The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center is pleased to present “Lakes, Flowers, Family: Works by Vincent Saulnier and Scott Thayer.” The exhibit featuring paintings by Vincent Saulnier and pottery by Scott Thayer will be on display from Jan. 10 through Feb. 16 and is free and open to the public. The Hayner center is located at 301 W. Main St., Troy.

Piqua Arts Council to host holiday concert Dec. 7

PIQUA — The Piqua Arts Council will host their free Sounds of the Season Holiday Concert on Satuday, Dec. 7, following the Downtown Holiday Parade.

PIQUA — The Edison Stagelight Players will present William Shakespeare’s “The Comedy of Errors” directed by Matt Beisner. Performances will be held Oct. 25 through Nov. 3 in the Robinson Theater at Edison State Community College’s Piqua Campus.

Annual ‘Fall into Christmas‘ Food Truck Rally and Craft Show returns

DARKE COUNTY — Darke County will showcase the fourth annual “Fall into Christmas” Food Truck Rally and Craft Show on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Darke County Fairgrounds. The event will be rain or shine with free admission to the craft show.

“Simply Three” to headline holiday evening at Edison State

PIQUA — The electrifying string trio Simply Three will be featured at the 22nd Annual Holiday Evening at Edison State on Wednesday, Dec. 4. Proceeds from the evening will directly benefit the Edison Foundation Scholarship Fund to support Edison State students.
