PIQUA — JoJo Marrs, longtime administrative employee for Piqua City Schools, recently retired after nearly 30 years with the district.
PIQUA — The following students have been named to the honor roll at Piqua Catholic School for the second quarter:
CASSTOWN — The Miami East-MVCTC FFA Chapter recently competed in the District 5 Evaluations of the Ohio FFA Association at Miami Valley Career Technology Center, in Clayton. Several members of the chapter dedicated numerous hours on developing and growing on their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) records to prepare their applications for awards and degrees.
BRADFORD — Three members of the Bradford-UVCC FFA chapter recently had the opportunity to attend the 212-360 Conference during the weekend of Jan. 18 and 19. These were two different leadership conferences, 212 being for 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th grade students, and 360 being for 11th and 12th graders.
CASSTOWN — The Miami East-MVCTC FFA Chapter held its annual Chili Cook-Off Competition during its January meeting. Members were given the challenge of working in teams or as individuals to create a chili to submit to the judges for evaluation. They had to submit their recipe and cooking directions.
