Rose Anne Butsch, 86, of Piqua, passed away at 6:50 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2019 at the Hospice Unit of Upper Valley Medical Center.

It’s no secret that America is ensnared in a national opioid epidemic that is exacting a devastating toll on families and communities. We’ve all read the tragic headlines, watched the videos or heard radio news reports of deaths resulting from a lethal dose of heroin and/or other opioids.
COLUMBUS — Ohio EPA Director Craig W. Butler and Ohio Department of Health Director Lance Himes have announced nearly $700,000 in funding for community health departments and related public entities across the state for mosquito control grants. The funding will help mitigate the spread of mosquito-borne viruses such as Zika, West Nile and La Cross Encephalitis.
